아트포인트가 디자인한 2023년 서울 모빌리티쇼의 ‘제네시스 코어존 (GENESIS CORE ZONE)’이

‘2023 레드닷 디자인 어워드’ 브랜드 커뮤니케이션 부문에서 본상을 수상했습니다.

 

제네시스의 차세대 비전을 제시하는 코어 존은 한국 전통 건축인 한옥의 '창(창호)'과 '와(기와)'

요소를 활용해제네시스의 브랜드 정체성인 'Distinctly Korean’에 초점을 맞춰 디자인했습니다.

 

한옥의 기와 곡선에서 영감을 받은 천장의 행잉 오브제는 제네시스의 네이비 기와 컬러를 입힌

900개의 친환경 재활용 아크릴로 제작됐으며,기와 하나하나가 곡선 형태로 겹쳐져 흐르는

지붕선의 미학을 표현하고 제네시스의 두 선을 절묘하게 형상화 했습니다.

 

한옥의 창을 전시 공간의 배경으로 디자인하고, '돌담 너머 사계'를 주제로 창 너머로 미디어를

재생했으며,툇마루를 설치해 한옥의 전통미와 함께 공간을 확장했습니다.

 

전체적으로 전통 한옥의 '창과 와'를 형상화한 코어존 디자인은 제네시스 럭셔리의 새로운 시대,

세대 간의 연결,과거와 미래의 조화를 현대적으로 재해석한 것이 특징입니다. 코어 존 디자인은

친환경 마감재를 사용했으며,구조물 및 마감재에 전체의 80%를 재활용할 수 있도록 설계되었습니다.

 

 

The Genesis Core Zone, which lays out the next Genesis’ vision at the Seoul Mobility Show 2023,

is designed with the "Chang(window) andWa(mud-baked tile)"elements of traditional

Korean architecture, Hanok, to focus on Genesis brand identity, ‘Distinctly Korean’.

 

Inspired by the catenary curve of a Hanok, the hanging objects on the ceiling are made of

900 eco-friendly recycled acrylics tinted in Genesis' navy color, with each roof tile overlapping

in a curved form, expressing the aesthetic of a flowing roofline and exquisitely shaping the two lines of Genesis.

 

The window of Hanok is designed in the background of the exhibition space, the media was played

behind the window with the theme of'The Four Seasons Beyond the Stone Wall,' and the Toenmaru(veranda)

was installed to expand the space along with thetraditional beauty of the Hanok.

 

 Overall the design of the Core Zone with "Chang and Wa" of traditional Hanok represented a modern

interpretation of a new era of Genesis Luxury, a connection between generations and a blend of past and future.

The core zone design uses green finishes in the installation and is designed for recycling 80% of the total in the structure or finishes.
